St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines, Missouri

St. Joachim Catholic Church is undoubtedly the cornerstone of the Old Mines community.  Construction on the present church began shortly after the establishment of the parish of St. Joachim (under the Archdiocese of St. Louis) in 1828.  The church was consecrated in 1831.  It remains a fully-operational church to this day.
